New Garden Gazebo is Closing Dec. 31

As we prepare to close the doors of The Gazebo, we want to express our deepest gratitude for your incredible support over the years. Your passion for gardening and your trust in our expertise have made The Gazebo a truly special place. We cherish the relationships we've built and the memories we've shared. Though this chapter is coming to a close, we are incredibly thankful for each and every one of you. We hope you'll continue to find joy in the beauty of the natural world.

Q: Why is The Gazebo closing?

A: While we've loved serving the community, The Gazebo has experienced a significant decline in sales since COVID-19. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult for us to continue operations. We've made the tough decision to close our retail garden center and focus on our landscaping services through New Garden Landscaping and Nursery.

Q: When will The Gazebo close?

A: Our last day of business will be Tuesday, December 30, 2024. Please note that we will be closed for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Q: What happens to my outstanding gift cards?

A: We encourage you to use your gift cards before December 30, 2024. If you have a remaining balance after that date, it can be applied towards services offered by our landscaping division, New Garden Landscaping and Nursery.

Q: What about my loyalty points?

A: New check-ins on the New Garden app will no longer be recorded. Please use your check-in rewards by the end of the year. Our Garden Gold program ended at the end of 2023.

Q: Is New Garden Landscaping and Nursery going out of business too?

A: No, New Garden Landscaping and Nursery remains a strong and growing company! We will continue to provide high-quality landscaping services to our clients. We recently expanded our services by acquiring Nature's Select Piedmont and Landscape Irrigation Services.

Q: What will happen to The Gazebo staff?

A: All full-time employees at The Gazebo will be offered positions within our landscaping service divisions.

Q: Where else can I go for gardening advice and supplies?

A: We recommend checking out these local garden centers:

  • Guilford Garden Center: 701 Milner Drive, Greensboro, NC 27410

  • AB Seed: 2914 Sandy Ridge Road, Colfax, NC 27235

Q: How do I contact New Garden Landscaping and Nursery for services?

A: You can reach New Garden Landscaping and Nursery by phone at (336) 665-0291 or here on our website.

Q: What will happen to all of the inventory at The Gazebo

A:  We plan to sell our remaining inventory through a series of sales leading up to our closing date of December 31st.

Q: What about the warranties & returns?

A: One-time replacement warranties for previous purchases will be honored per our warranty terms with proof of purchase. We will be unable to process returns. There will be no warranty or returns on items purchased during our store closing sales; all sales after 11/13/24 are final.

Q: What about your other locations?

A: New Garden does not have any other retail store locations. Our services divisions will continue to operate as usual.
